Simeon Duncan


Simeon has over fifteen years of high-level experience in Australian federal politics. He worked in communications and campaign roles as a Senior Advisor providing strategic advice, training and support to three Opposition Leaders. He also developed and oversaw the implementation of the Liberal Party’s digital and social media campaigns.

Simeon worked as an advisor in the Howard Government, drafting media releases, newsletter articles, talking points and briefing notes for Ministers and MPs. Simeon has also provided briefs to Prime Minister John Howard and other senior Ministers, Opposition Leaders and has participated in high-level meetings in London and Washington.

Simeon has developed and implemented communications strategies for numerous State and Federal election campaigns, and has worked in communication roles at Serco Immigration Services; the Energy Networks Association and voter advocacCommunications Access Co-ordinatory organisations.

Simeon has a strong interest in technological business solutions having planned and implemented business processing systems for a chain of retail stores as well as utilising big data to provide voter insights in Australian election campaigns. He likes problem-solving and working across a range of challenging client issues.

Simeon is married and has three children and a Cavoodle. He is active in his local church and enjoys most sports, including rugby union, cricket, and snow skiing.
